The emotional bond formed between children and their parents during early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping the foundation of emotional development. This bond is essential for children’s ability to identify, express, and manage their emotions in a positive manner. Emotional development is strongly influenced by attachment, which is established through warm interactions, responsiveness, a sense of security, and trust. This study aims to examine the role of parental attachment in fostering positive emotions in early childhood. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were collected from relevant books, journals, and previous research. The findings indicate that secure attachment helps children develop self-confidence, empathy, independence, and good emotional regulation. In contrast, insecure attachment tends to lead to anxiety, difficulty in controlling emotions, and challenges in social relationships. Therefore, fostering positive emotions in early childhood is significantly influenced by emotionally present parents and consistent patterns of interaction.
